All Fathers Should Be Mothers Too

I believe without doubts everyone knows the significant roles of mothers towards child upbringing and nation building.

The care and love mothers show towards their offspring before and after birth is indeed supreme. A woman becomes a mother from the early stage of pregnancy, to childbirth and to when she start pampering and nursing the baby.

After birth, is another stage of motherhood that requires maximum attention. These love shown, typically make the children have an unquantifiable love for mothers, often times mothers are the kids playmate and partner. The children always prefer to be around their mothers since they believe mothers are the only individual that makes them feel safe, understand their acts, attitudes and behavior.

Taking absolute care of the family is another magnificent role of a mother. The washing, cooking, cleaning and other household shores in conjunction with daily stress are what mothers go through in their daily life. Despite all the loads of work, women are also found mostly working and struggling to earn resources to meet the needs of the child and partially assisting the father in their own role.

Fathers are said to be the head of the family, their major roles is to provide foods, clothes and shelter for the family. In some cases few fathers tend to act like mothers, they believe in supporting them in some household works, like bathing the baby while the mother is cooking or vise versa, doing the clean up while the woman relax from other works she has done and so on.  These few fathers are sometime castigated by others who do not see reasons to a man assisting or supporting the women in taking care of some household works.

In view of all these I begin to think on how mothers work endlessly to make sure their kids survive and succeed. These questions then come to mind, “Can’t all fathers act like mothers too”? Do fathers really understand what mothers go through?

To some extent I believe few of the fathers do, they only felt not to support the women. Their natural believe is that women are personally trained to take care of household works. They believe women should be the only one to care for the child since a mans major role is to provide for the family. Some of these fathers do not even care about what the child eat or wear inasmuch as it has been provided for.

It is absolutely wrong for fathers to refuse to note these errors; their roles are more than what they normally thought of. Father’s ability in supporting the mother makes them the best among the rest. It does also enable the children to learn from their attitude and feel safer. They should note that mothers are not created to go through pain for eternity and they are not created to be loved by the kids alone.

The children want to have immense love for dad too but some fathers fail to create the chance for the kids.

The children naturally have these fear for fathers. The fear does not allow free flow of mutual love.  Fathers should understand this and try as much as possible to erase these fear from the kids and show to them maximum love not only by spending quality time but showing enough care, even if you still need to scold them, do it with love.

I strongly advice that fathers take the same position as mothers in child upbringing. Mothers always need a helping hand; taking care of the children should be a top most priority for fathers too.

It is not ideal for mothers to go through those tough times; they are not created to suffer that much, men should stop acting like a coward in the battle field. If you are a father find time to support your wife in household works as you will also need them to support your cause.

Allowing mothers to take charge of your responsibility is totally wrong except if you are faced with challenges beyond your ability. Though, it’s understandable if dads require assistance from the mothers but never expect them to take full charge of your responsibilities.

As a father you might still not believe that mothers are going through a lot, kindly place yourself in the position of a mother or better still act like a mother for a single day to feel the enormous work these women are doing daily.

If all fathers can be mothers, the world would be better for it.

The enormous challenges mothers went through is enough for fathers to see reasons in assisting mothers in some core areas.
